The other question often raised about Obama is the Stimulus Bill, roundly criticized as "too little" for the job. But Robert Grunwald has a very different take on this piece of legislation. His Foreign Policy piece should reassure liberals and moderates that this was an imaginative and bold piece of legislation that years from now will rank with Obamacare as a masterful achievement.
To be sure, the recession is still with us, and the reason is simple: Keynsian economics and stimulus spending is deeply distrusted by the GOP and parts of the Democratic Party whose concept of economics is, when the going gets tough, cut government spending.
God help us.
